The day started with “Surfer Girl” by The Beach Boys.

The twang from yesterday added some fiddle as “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” by The Charlie Daniels Band was the first song served up this morning.

Then a band of demons joined in,
And it sounded something like this

The music opened on Tuesday with the twang of Johnny Cash and “Ring of Fire”. 

Favorite Line:

The first song on Sunday was “We Got The Beat” by The Go-Go’s.

Favorite line:

See the kids just getting out of school
They can’t wait to hang out and be cool
Hang around ‘til quarter after twelve
That’s when they fall in line

The music started on Saturday with Gordon Lightfoot and “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald”

Favorite line:

The church bell chimed ‘til it rang twenty-nine times

Midnight struck and it turned into Robert Earl Keen with back to back singles with a live version of “On and On”.

The first song for Wednesday was “Walk Like An Egyptian” by The Bangles.

 Favorite Line:

They spin around and they cross the floor

You drop your drink, then they bring you more

I cheated the first song this morning. Went with something that was accurate. “Running on Empty” by Jackson Browne. It was either this or Zombie Zoo by Tommy & The Heartbreakers.

I don’t know when that road turned onto the road I’m on

The music on this dreary Monday morning started with the “Excitable Boy” himself with Warren Zevon belting out “ Werewolves of London”.

Favorite line:
