30 years ago (3/7/89) the movie “Major League” was released in theaters. That makes me feel old. 

There were tons of funny lines in the movie, from Cerrano and Harris fighting over Jobu’s rum and whether or not Jesus Christ could hit a curveball, but the first quote that came to mind when I saw the announcement on twitter earlier was when Lou Brown, the manager told Wesley Snipes, aka Willie Mays Hayes, “
You may run like Hayes. but you hit like shit.“

Oh and Bob Uecker was great.
